Album Review: "Bernarr" by Durand Bernarr

"Bernarr" by Durand Bernarr album cover
It's been quite a year for Durand Bernarr! The eccentrically talented singer has been on the music scene for some time, mostly as a backup singer to greats such as Erykah Badu and Teedra Moses just to name a few. However, in recent times he has been front and centre to display the bountiful talents he possesses. His witty, charming, outlandish and authentic approach to music as well as his VOCAL prowess has been a breath of fresh air in a rather dreary musical landscape. Well, this year he finally stepped into his own and become a true solo star especially after his much deserved GRAMMY win earlier this year for Best Progressive R&B album for his project titled "Bloom", check out my review of that album here, not to mention the viral video of him running to accept the award during the pre ceremony broadcast. To keep the momentum he has released his fifth studio album titled "Bernarr". Let us see what journey this R&B wild child is about to take us on with this project.
