Released in 2006, Evolution is the definitive fourth studio album by Tobagonian Soca heavyweight Shurwayne Winchester. The album serves as a musical time capsule of Winchester's absolute peak era, capturing the historic momentum of his consecutive Road March and International Soca Monarch title sweeps. The album seamlessly blends high-tempo Power Soca with smooth, melodic Groovy Soca rhythms, solidifying Winchester's reputation as a versatile vocalist.

Evolution remains a landmark piece of Soca history. The album yielded massive commercial success at the Copyright Organisation of Trinidad and Tobago (COTT) awards, where tracks from this era won Songwriter of the Year and Groovy Soca of the Year. Distributed and manufactured by Trinidad's legendary Chinese Laundry Music, the project features elite executive production and writing from Winchester himself.
