Album Review: "locket" by Madison Beer

"locket" by Madison Beer album cover
Pop's Megan Fox is not a new artist in my musical world. Who is pop's Megan Fox? It is none other than Madison Beer. She has been the subject of many music video essays I have watched on YouTube with many "experts without expertise" (shoutout to Beyoncé) giving their opinions and theories about her talent and the state of her career. Yet, no matter how many times she has come across my consciousness even as recently at the last Victoria Secret fashion show where she was one of the performers, I have never been intrigued enough to give her music a listening ear. That is why I drew the comparison between Madison and Fox. I like Megan Fox as a general celeb persona (who does not love a bad, beautiful gal) but I have never been interested in her an actress so I have watched at most three of her movies. Anyway, let us back on track. This may seem mean spirited toward Madison Beer but truly that is not the intention of this preamble. It is just to set the stage for you as a reader to understand my relationship to her artistry. However, since starting this blog last July I have committed myself to listen to new artists and given some artist that I may have written off a second chance which is the category Ms. Beer finds herself. With that being said let us finally see what she has to offer with her third studio album titled "locket".
