Year End Recap: Best New Artist (2025)

2025 was an exciting year as I discovered many new artists. This is due to the fact that I continued my 2024 musical journey of listening to more music and a variety of genres into 2025. This journey led me into finding wonderful artist across the musical spectrum. However there are a few who stood out from the crowd and this post is to highlight those artists. These artist may not be necessarily new as in their did not release their debut album in 2025 but I was introduced to these artist in 2025 so they are new to me.

Here are my favourite new artist of 2025

Say Now

I do not remember how I discovered the British girl group but they are one of my favourite discoveries of the year.  Smooth vocals, delicate harmonies, unique choreography and banging songs that are pop perfection. How can you not fall in love with this trio. Hopefully, their debut album or an EP will be on its way in 2026.

Here are a few of my favourite Say Now moments from 2025.

Johnny Venus

Apparently Johnny Venus is actually a part of Hip-Hop duo called Earth Gang. However, this was not my introduction to this exciting R&B artist. My introduction was based on thirst following accounts of fine black men on Instagram and coming across Johnny Venus. Feeling guilty for the thirst follow I decided to give his music a listen and instantly feel in love.

Here are a few of my favourite Johnny Venus moments from 2025.

Partyof2, Jadagrace & SWIM

From an R&B artist whose actually a part of a Hip Hop duo to a Hip Hop trio that became a Hip Hop duo. That duo is Partyof2 which consists of rapper Tyson Coy Stewart who goes by SWIM and singer and dancer Jadagrace. I discovered this group when their video for their song "Poser" went viral and I have been hooked ever since. You see social media does have its benefits!

Here are a few of my favourite Partyof2 moments from 2025.
