EP Review: "THE REPUBLIC OF MOTION" by Bronze Avery

"THE REPUBLIC OF MOTION" by Bronze Avery EP cover
Here is another EP review brought to you via an interesting album cover and a YouTube ad. By now avid readers of this blog know the script. I was scrolling through my favourite album news site to see what albums has been released and stumbled upon a captivating album cover. Then I realized that unlike the other times where I did not know this artist, that I did in fact know Bronze Avery. How? A YouTube ad popped up promoting his song Only U. I lsitened and loved it and it even made my infamous Hot 10 list that week. So, as you know by now with all those factors I had to give the album a listen which leads to a review on the blog. The artist whose album cover art piqued my interest is Bronze Avery.

Gabriel Nathaniel Brown, known professionally as Bronze Avery, is an American pop singer-songwriter. He released his debut EP American Dream in 2015 under his birth name. Avery subsequently released several singles and EPs under his stage name, before releasing his debut full-length album, Softmetal in 2022. He released his second studio album Heatwave on June 13, 2024. Gabriel Brown was born in Orlando, Florida to a military family. He grew up as a Navy brat and moved to Seattle, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta before returning to Orlando after his parents' divorce. Avery came out as gay by mistake due to a shared family computer. Shows including A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila helped him feel more comfortable while in school. Originally from Orlando, as of 2019, Avery is based in Los Angeles.
