EP Review: "Raw Honey" by Honey Bxby

"Raw Honey" by Honey Bxby EP cover
One of my favourite producers of all time and who is currently dominating the music industry is Stephen McGregor. You may know him as Di Genius. He is a Jamaican record producer, singer, and songwriter. Di Genius comes from a musical family—his father is legendary veteran reggae artist Freddie McGregor and his siblings, Daniel "Chino" McGregor and Yeshemabeth "Shema" McGregor, are also singers. In 2017, Billboard.com listed Di Genius as one of the producers who brought dancehall back to the mainstream, noting his work on Drake's hit song "Controlla" off the multi-platinum selling album Views. Anyway, you may be wondering what Di Genuis has to do with a review of Honey Bxby's EP titled "Raw Honey". Well, as I scrolling down my Instagram feed I saw that he had posted an interesting cover for a project he worked on. Yes I thirst follow McGregor on social media because who does not like a talented and fine melanted Caribbean man. That is besides the point! Readers of this blog know I love an odd album, EP, mixtape cover so I immediately had to give the EP a listening ear off of the strength of her captivating album cover. So with that being said let us see what this new artist has in store for us.
