Album Review: "Miss Black America" by Kirby

Usually on the blog, it is revealed that I was introduced to a new artist in different ways. There is the infamous YouTube ad. Then, there is the popular album and single art cover or even the album and/or single name. Also, you cannot forget my trusty music site that updates me on what is happening in the world of music. However today will be kind of different! I was introduced to the incredible artist named Kirby through the popular YouTube show The Terrell Show several years ago. Anyone who is familiar with the channel knows he brings artist from all around the world to sing their tails off. Kirby was one of my favourites guest he had on the show but I never followed her up after watching her episode. You can watch her episode and fall in love with her like I did here: KIRBY sings Jill Scott and Talks Writing For Rihanna, Ariana Grande, & Beyoncé Fast forward to 2025 and her album cover randomly floated on my Instagram feed so I finally decided to give her music a listen and found out that she had recently released her sophomore album titled "Miss Black America" by Kirby. Let us see what she has in store for us!

Denzel Spencer (born April 18, 1996), better known by his stage name Roy Woods (also stylized as Roy Wood$), is a Canadian singer, rapper, and songwriter.[2][3] He signed with Drake's record label OVO Sound, an imprint of Warner Records in 2014. Album Review: "June" By De'Wayne

I came across a snippet of the video on Twitter and decided to give the song a listening ear and I instantly feel in love. This new discovery filled me with so much joy because as an avid music listener I  always seek to expand my musical horizons to listen to genres I usually do not follow.
