Album Review: "love?... or something like it" by Halle

It's finally here! Halle Bailey not be confused with Halle Berry has released her debut solo album. Halle is probably most known for playing Ariel in the 2023 live action remake of The Little Mermaid. Musically, she is best known as ½ of the R&B duo ChlöexHalle which she is a part of with her bigger sister. The duo made two studio albums before deciding in 2021 to pursue individual projects but it is important to note that the duo did not disband. Chlöe was first off the block in terms of releasing music by dropping numerous singles and two albums. In 2023, Halle stepped up to the plate and released her first solo single "Angel" then several other singles followed but there was no word of a debut solo studio album. Then on October 8 she announced her solo debut project titled "love?... or something like it". The album title was obviously a playful wink at the recent public drama she had with the father of her son that played out all over social media. Anyway, personal life drama I have liked or loved every single she has released leading up to the album so let us see what she has in store for us with her debut offering.

Denzel Spencer (born April 18, 1996), better known by his stage name Roy Woods (also stylized as Roy Wood$), is a Canadian singer, rapper, and songwriter.[2][3] He signed with Drake's record label OVO Sound, an imprint of Warner Records in 2014. His first two albums, Waking at Dawn (2016) and Say Less (2017), both moderately entered the Canadian Albums Chart and US Billboard 200. Woods has also founded his own collective, Unlock the Underground. Album Review: "June" By De'Wayne

I came across a snippet of the video on Twitter and decided to give the song a listening ear and I instantly feel in love.
