Here is another album review brought to you via an interesting album cover. By now avid readers of this blog know the script. I was scrolling through my favourite album news site to see what albums has been released and stumbled upon an artist I knew nothing about that had a captivating album cover. So, as you know by now I had to give the album a listen which leads to a review on the blog. The new artist whose album cover art piqued my interest is Meg Smith. 

This what she had to say about the release of her album titled "Disco Dystopia"! 

🍒DISCO DYSTOPIA🍒 is out now ❤️ i started this album while working a 40 hour a week nannying job, and finished it while on tour :’) i tried my best to express the anxiety and joy i felt while writing these songs. dreaming about the future & dancing while simultaneously grieving the world around us. i recommend listening at night, driving with your friends or dancing alone in your room. i hope these songs make you laugh and smile and feel silly and seen. thank you for listening ❤️Thank you to the incredible team of people who made these songs what they are 💕 @artisthousehq @annami11err @bensenseless @charlie_perl

Denzel Spencer (born April 18, 1996), better known by his stage name Roy Woods (also stylized as Roy Wood$), is a Canadian singer, rapper, and songwriter.[2][3] He signed with Drake's record label OVO Sound, an imprint of Warner Records in 2014. His first two albums, Waking at Dawn (2016) and Say Less (2017), both moderately entered the Canadian Albums Chart and US Billboard 200. Woods has also founded his own collective, Unlock the Underground. Album Review: "June" By De'Wayne

I came across a snippet of the video on Twitter and decided to give the song a listening ear and I instantly feel in love. This new discovery filled me with so much joy because as an avid music listener I  always seek to expand my musical horizons to listen to genres I usually do not follow.
