Lately, the initial American Idol's name has been in the headlines for depressing news. Quite frankly, her tumultuous personal life has overshadowed the fact that she is such a phenomenal artist. The conversation should really be about her last album not her weight loss or the fact that she is experiencing her vocal prime in her early 40s as a soprano where most other sopranos start to dramatically decline vocally at the same age and not her messy relationship with her recently deceased ex husband. Who am I speaking about? This weeks TMC Rewind will focus on Kelly Clarkson. The 3 time GRAMMY award winning artist remains one of the most humble person in the industry and it is her humility that causes people to underestimate her artistry. So I am gonna brag on her behalf! Clarkson remains in the top 3 the best American Idol winner of all time, she is a part of the very select group of vocal goddesses of the 2000s and she has inspired countless artists like Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, Kelsea Ballerini and even Taylor Swift. Her talent, accolades and gift are endless! So with that mind I have decided to share my top 12 favourite tracks from her iconic discography throughout her distinguished career. The tunes that were chosen represent singles which are songs that were released to multiple formats to promote her various albums. The songs are listed in chronological order based on the release date of her albums and is not ranked in terms of personal favourability.
