Rewind: Christina Aguilera (Singles Discography)

There are two (2) hotly debated conversations that were popular amongst music Twitter over the past few weeks in which the subject of this week Rewind has been a focal point. The first debate was about who was the premier vocalist of the 2000s, 2010s and 2020s and the other was a conservation about why newer artist cannot be as daring and shocking as previous icons. The first debate was a ferocious battle between The Hive (Beyoncé stans) and The Fighters (Christina Aguilera's stans) about which artist was THEE vocalist of the 2000s and in the next dispute fans were using Xtina's iconic "Stripped" Era as an example of an artist shaking up the music industry and shifting culture and that younger artist are not living up to their predecessors. Whatever the discussion are surrounding her artistry one thing that cannot be denied is that Christina has always been ahead of the curve throughout her career. She was at the forefront of the late 90s and early 2000s bubblegum teen pop craze then she also was at the front lines when pop acts started incorporating more R&B and Hip-Hop into their music shocking the world with "Dirrty" and she was even ahead of the EDM trend that take over in the early 2010s when she released Bionic. I will never forgive the public for how they punished her for being ahead of the curve especially with her Bionic era. So with that mind I have decided to share my top 12 favourite tracks from her iconic discography throughout her distinguished career. The tunes that were chosen represent singles which are songs that were released to multiple formats to promote her various albums. The songs are listed in chronological order based on the release date of her albums and is not ranked in terms of personal favourability.
