EP Review: "NGL" by JoJo

JoJo has been SANGING her tail off for decades in an industry that has often ignored and seeked to exploit her gifts. Well, after breaking free from those chains in 2014, the Leave (Get Out) singer has been releasing great bodies of work back to back and 2025 is no exception. On January 24th, she dropped an EP entitled "NGL". Let's see what she has in store for us this time!

Denzel Spencer (born April 18, 1996), better known by his stage name Roy Woods (also stylized as Roy Wood$), is a Canadian singer, rapper, and songwriter.[2][3] He signed with Drake's record label OVO Sound, an imprint of Warner Records in 2014. His first two albums, Waking at Dawn (2016) and Say Less (2017), both moderately entered the Canadian Albums Chart and US Billboard 200. Woods has also founded his own collective, Unlock the Underground. Album Review: "June" By De'Wayne

I came across a snippet of the video on Twitter and decided to give the song a listening ear and I instantly feel in love. This new discovery filled me with so much joy because as an avid music listener I  always seek to expand my musical horizons to listen to genres I usually do not follow.
